NEPAL (NEP)

In 2000 an extra serial number replaced the second letter. In 2017 a brand new series using Western letters and numerals was introduced.

FORMER ISSUES - STILL VALID

Note: The following photos are taken from a video clip I made. The reason is I didn't have my camera when I saw this one, but fortunately my mother had her video camera, which I borrowed. To avoid such situations, I now almost always have my camera with me.

Normal series c.1962-2017. c.1983-2000 with three letters on the upper line. बा.अ = Bagmati zone. ब = Private motorcycles. White on red = Private vehicles. The serial number (on the lower line) is 8359.
