[Four numerals (trailers etc.)]
[Trade]
[Export]
These are highest sightings of diplomatic plates. There is no evidence of separate blocks used for
single or double line plates. Apparently these plates are made on demand in the shape needed.
If a plate is lost or stolen, it has become practice to issue replacement plates with a registration ten
numbers higher. This has been seen at least since 2014. In some cases the replacement plates have
been lost and another ten numbers added to the registration, resulting in highs well above where
they normally would have been. There were signs that this practice had ended by 2020, but examples
from 2022 exist.
Since 2012 aluminium plates in 2006 style are again used. They are shown in normal lettering.
Plastic plates in 2009 style are shown in bold lettering. Aluminium plates in 2002 style in italic lettering. Aluminium plates in 1985 style in underlined lettering.
